for quite sometime i have been defacating large stools which is a very painfull.is there a problem or a solution that someone could make me aware of? thanks

You can first try docusate sodium 100mg, taken according to package instructions, to try to soften your stools so they don't compact to such a thickness in your intestines. If this does not resolve the problem, or if you begin to suffer from other symptoms such as tearing of the rectum upon defication, get in touch with your physician for other possible treatments.
