I have a ruptured appendix with abscess and I am getting surgery to remove my appendix later in the month. I am aware of what could happen if I drink alcohol on antibiodics. Would alcohol just affect the antibiodics I am taking or the appendix abscess itself? What could happen?

Hi, Perhaps you mean appendicitis with an appendix mass (because a ruptured appendix with abscess should be operated as an emergency).
There are no authentic information about this to my knowledge about the effect of alcohol on appendix abscesses. Best wishes!
