I had lap surgery to have my gallbladder removed on march 1st...Lately I have been feeling good but just yesterday my belly button started hurting like it did after I had the surgery. Sometimes it takes a minute to fully stand erect after sitting. The pain also is on the left side of my belly button area if your were to press there (very tender to the touch).
I go back to my Dr. For a follow-up on the 6th of april.
Has anyone else had this problem or know what could be causing this pain?
Thankyou

Hello,
In such cases it is best to call your doctor. Its normal to have minimal post-operative pain. However, pain may also arise from adhesions, infection or hemorrhage (not common).
