a couple days ago i though i was constipated because it felt like i was having imcomplete bowl movements, it felt a little like pressure/pain on the inside of the anus, so i really increased my fibre intake. This sensation has sense changed to a sharp pain when having a bowl movement and a little after. i've read that this may be an anal fissure. Is this something serious? is there anything i can do to help with the pain? How long will this last? and at what point should i go see a doctor?

Hi!
How can you be sure if it's a fissure without letting yourself be examined by a doctor? And you don't want constipation to complicate a fissure alright!
Warm regards,
Bill
