I am on the combined pill. I missed a pill on the 13th day of my cycle and didn't take it at all later. I had unprotected sex on the 20th day of my cycle. Can I be pregnant? Also as I only took 20 pills last month, am I covered at the moment?

Hello,
I hope it all turned out fine for you.
Generally speaking, if it has been 24 hours since the last pill was taken, the patient takes both the missed pill and the next scheduled pill at the same time. The patient then uses an additional contraceptive method for 7 days if she is more than 12 hours late in taking an oral contraceptive pill.[1]
