Last month I started my period early, and had cramps so badly that I couldn't move till they subsided, I also had very heavy bleeding. Normally my period lasts 7-9 days with mild cramps and bleeding, this time it lasted 12 days. Could this have just been a fluke or is there a chance I miscarried before I knew I was pregnant. Thanks in advance for any help!

I forgot to mention that I'm on the Ortho Evra patch and gave birth to my son 10 months ago.
