Please help us settle a debate....How many eggs does a woman reproduce monthly?

Hello,
Each woman is born with millions of immature eggs that are awaiting ovulation to begin.
After menarche, in each menstrual cycle a few follicles will develop and proceed toward ovulation.
Normally only one egg reaches maturation and is released each time of ovulation to be picked up by the fallopian tube waiting for fertilization.
Some exceptions are known and more than one egg is released in one cycle, results in non identical twins .
