Hi, I am 34 and a mother of two. My period lasted only two days. Befor it came every three weeks and lasted about five days. What could this mean? Do you think I could be pregnant?

Hello,
A normal menstrual period can last 2 to 7 days. If your menstrual cycle is regular and there is no missing period, then pregnancy is less likely to be expected (just on the basis of shorter bleeding period).
If the cycle is due, it is morelikely to consider pregnancy and to do a pregnancy test.
Shorter bleeding period could be due to many other causes that affect your general condition and your hormonal status.
Shorter or spottier periods may also be a presentation for women in the perimenopause.
If these changes continue to occur or other changes in your menstrual cycle take place, I advise you to seek gynecological consultation.
Best regards.
