I am a female, 20 years old. I have not had sexual relations for the last three months, and suddenly I have started to feel palpitations on my vulva. It is a very weird feeling and it goes on for minutes, then off, and then again. I try to move and the feeling continues. What could this be? and how can I stop it? I have not have had any infections, and it is the first time in my life that this happens. Help Please[/b]

Hello,
This may occur in conditions like:
- Pelvic congestion due to either Lower gastrointestinal problems (like Constipation), urinary tract problem (urethritis),
- Vaginitis: infections with different types of infection
- sexual excitement
Direct clinical examination is essential.
If the condition continues you should seek gynecological consultation.
Best regards.
