 cdemarco - Wed Aug 04, 2004 11:09 am

my question is:
If I begin Taking my Birthcontrol two sundays after my period ends will it push back next months cycle I need to know please
Dr. Tamer Fouad - Fri Aug 06, 2004 3:29 am

User avatar The first cycle may be somewhat shorter than usual, whereas all following cycles with last four weeks.
An additional, non-hormonal method of contraception (with the exception of the rhythm and temperature methods) should be employed during the first 14 days of the first treated cycle.
Because you are not starting right after your menses you should make sure that you are not pregnant.
