Hi, I'm 20 years old, and have been experiencing menstrual cramps and have a brownish colored discharge, but do not have my period. I'm not due for my period until in a couple of days. I am sexually active, and am taking oral contraceptives. Is it normal for me to have serious cramps, but no period?

It is not abnormal. Brown discharge usually indicates old blood and this is your body's way of doing housekeeping, taking care of the uterus. I can't say exactly why you are cramping but it can also be normal. If it gets worse or you have other symptoms, you should see your doctor.
Good luck
