i had my first depo shot the beggining of march. I have not had any spotting or bleeding since ive gotten it. I am also a week late for my period.is this normal? If i took a pregnancy test to check if i were pregnant would it test positive just because im on the shot?

Yes, hormonal birth control can affect your periods. I would not be alarmed. Chances are it will regulate itself in time.
