i have been on implanon since december 2005 for the first two years of it i had no periods. this year i have had very irregular periods lasting between 4 days and 6 weeks. for the last 4 to 5 weeks i have been bleeding a very strong smelling blood (like a mix between iron and a sewer). i don't no what this is , possibly an infection ? any ideas ? could this be serious ?

Odor is most often associated with infection so you should see your doctor about this possibility. Good luck to you.
