I am currently 7 weeks pregnant. So far, I have gained about 7 pounds. The weight seems to be accumulating on my stomach and no where else. I look like I am about 4 to 5 months pregnant already. What is going on? What can I do about it?

Hello, You may be retaining water. If so, things will probably get better soon. The most important thing for you to do is eat sensibly, avoid empty calories and make every bite count by eating lots of whole grains, fruits, vegetables and fiber. If the food you eat is healthy, low fat and rich in vitamins, along with exercise, you will most likely gain appropriately overall and not pack on extra pounds.
Good luck with your pregnancy.
