I am 36 weeks pregnant. I tested + for GBS test and my doctor sent me to get a VDRL test this morning, after giving me the results. Are these test related to one another? Is this test common during the last weeks before labor, OR does he think that I might have syphilis because I am + for GBS?

Hello, This is good, responsible medical care to check for all possible infections. One is not related to the other, however.
Good luck with the delivery.
