For the past 3 months i have been experiencing very foul smelly gree discharge. I am also getting an awful lot of abdominal pain the same as period pains. I am very concisous when i am around people as i can get the odour coming from me, it is extremely strong. I have had 3 children and have not had a smear test done since i had my last child 8 years ago. What could be causing this?

 Hello,
First of all you are long overdue for a general exam, including pap smear so make an appointment. The most common cause of symptoms you describe would be vaginal infection so you need to find out if it is bacterial or fungal so you can get the appropriate treatment. A bacterial infection requires antibiotic treatment so you need to see a doctor to have this cured.
