Hello -
Can you please tell me if taking 300mg of Provigil once or twice a week will decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills? I take Junel 1.5/30

Hello, The information I have says there could be interaction between these two but not enough is known to be sure. We have discovered that there are not as many interaction prob.ems with birth control pills as was thought to be the case - those at risk are mostly little used Rifampin antibiotics. The two drugs you are taken are used simultaneously - we just can't say absolutely due to lack of scientific data. You should ask your doctor's opinion on this.
