hi, I've been on my period since the end of december on and off. I will stop for about 3 - 4 days then start right back again. But currently i've been on it for a month straight and for the past week it has been very heavy and i'm getting alot of very big blod clots. I have not been able to do anything because it so heavy. Should I be worried? I would appreciate your help. Thanks

Hello, Bleeding that continues for several months can possibly result in anemia so you should get it checked out. Hormones can probably get it stopped and regulate your periods. Make an appointment with your doctor. I don't anticipate any serious problem, but the chronic bleeding interferes with your life and could require some extra iron supplementation, which should only be done on a doctor's advice following lab testing of your blood.
Best wishes.
