 Hello,
Yes, of course it is possible. The reason it is illegal if not done in an appropriate and safe facility is because it increases your risk of infection or damage which COULD result in infertility; not that it necessarily will. Legal abortions must comply with strict regulations to try to protect the patient from complications so they are safer.
If you did not suffer any adverse effects, chances are you received no harm from it and were lucky in that. If you find yourself with infertility issues, a thorough exam should be performed to see if there was some kind of scarring causing the problem but efforts to conceive over a year will likely be successful.
