Hello, Years ago a study suggested that very large quantities of vitamin C might inhibit the breakdown of estrogen in the blood and might cause a decrease in the effectiveness of birth control pills. A 1993 study showed that this increase was not of any clinical significance. Vitamin C does not decrease the effectiveness of the pills.
Best wishes.
