I have a Mierna in place for about 3 years, but within the last couple of weeks. I have had cloudy or bloody mucusy discharge with mild right abdomonal pain. I took an athome pregnancy test and it read negative, but realized after that it had expired 11-09. What could be wrong? Could i be pregnant?

Hello, There is always a very slight chance of pregnancy even with an IUD in place but mucus and unusual discharge and pain would not be signs of pregnancy. If you are seriously feeling you might be pregnant, take a home test. Then, the doctor usually can remove the IUD if needed. Again, this is rare.
However, abdominal pain and discharge variation can be quite normal or caused by infection. If it continues, have it checked, especially if you have itching or foul odor.
Best wishes.
