I was told by a pharmacist to take pregnenolone for insomnia. I'm 8 weeks pregnant and have had 2 miscarriages previous to this pregnancy (and a 17 month old, healthy son). I took the capsule and then read on it WARNING! do not use if pregnant or nursing. Is my pregnancy, or baby in danger? Why is it bad? I trust this pharmacist, but it is very clear on the bottle, did he make a mistake in what he was giving me?
