Greetings from not so sunny florida:
I am a 49 year old that is approaching menopause. My periods have been irregular for the past 2 years. I get a strong ammonia odor with an occasional discharge after my period,,, are you aware of any over the counter remedy for this condition,,,

 Have you seen your GYN for this? Normal discharge doesn't have a smell; best to be examined in case of infection.
