Hi,
What does it mean when my Monocyte percent is too high, while my Monocite level is normal?
I had a WBC count yesterday and the only high was the Monocyte percent which was 10.9%, (normal being between 3 to 9%). My Monocite level however was 0.731 (normal being 0.1 to 0.8).
My lab test were as follows:
Leukocytes = 6.69 10^9/l (normal being 3.5 to 10.5)
Granulocytes = 60.3%
Moncytes = 10.9%
Lymphocytes = 26.1%
Eosinophils = 1.68%
Basophils = 0.987%
Am I healthy?

 Hello,Your results are quite normal.The small increase in monocytes could indicate a mild viral infection.This also could be a part of stress response.The condition like infectious mononucleosis also show monocytosis.Your increased count is minimum,and the levels being normal should be of no great concern.You could discuss with your doctor to get more reassured.Best wishes.
