Hello,

I have two questions,
Are you circumcised?
Have these lesions and the inflamed penis improved on the Antibiotic treatment?

This sounds like a complicated non improving inflammation of the skin of the penis.
The changes you have described are commonly seen in severe infections of fungal or viral origin.

-Irritant Dermatitis when not treated properly cause same form of lesions and Eczema's changes.

- A form of inflammation near the glans penis is known as Balanitis.
Balanitis, it is inflammation of the glans penis commonly seen in uncircumscribed men. It usually causes redness and/or a blotchy rash on the glans.
Mixed infection with anaerobic organisms and Candida infection appear to be the most common cause of disease.

Treatment is based on Antibiotics / anti fungal treatment, improved hygiene and treatment of Eczema . Circumcision may be needed in some cases.

The Ibuprofen is not a treatment for infections , it is just a form of Analgesic.

If you have been improving on the Antibiotic prescribed by your Doctor, and you have just forgot a dose, you can restart the same treatment till you visit your Doctor.

If t did not help at all I would advise you to contact your Doctor as soon as possible to prescribe you another Antibiotic treatment.

Mean while avoid any contact with a possible skin irritant, follow local hygienic measures and a local Antibiotic may be useful to avoid secondary bacterial infection and further complications.

I advised you to seek a direct clinical examination to reach the proper diagnosis.
Best regards.

Hello,

If I understand well, you mean it is getting better on the prescribed treatment.

You better continue same schedule of treatment prescribed by your doctor till the next follow up visit.

Mean while follow the local hygienic measures and avoid any irritant.

Best regards.
