Question: Help me, AM I HIV Positive?

davidblaine - Sat Jan 20, 2007 11:08 pm

I had a sexual encounter with a lady I don't know very well o Nov 9th 2006. We had unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex.

Shortly after, I noticed my testicles started to increase in size along with pain. I was prescribed doxy and cipro because I told the doctor I also noticed a white-ish discharge only when I was taking a shit. Only when I forced it out, anyways, all that seeems to have gone away now. But here is what I am facing now.

I have not had any major sexual encounters after this, although a girl gave me a handjob sometime in December (another girl). No drugs, no needles. But I keep reminscing about the possible different ways I may have been exposed to the disease like Cutting my hair with the barbers clippers/shaving blade and forgetting to ask if he sterilized it. My barber regularly does, but there this ocassion where he was not around and I used this new guy. And I didn't ask him.

I have extreme fatigue which started about Jan 10th 2007. Normally I bench over 200 pounds now, I find it hard to lift a monitor at work. I am extremely weak. I went to the doctor already she claims she thinks that I'm experiencing Depression, because I have a mental background. But this time, I'm not buying it. I WENT AT DID A RAPID HIV-TEST ON JAN 15TH, AND IT WAS NEGATIVE, THEY USED BLOOD THEY DREW THERE.

My urine stays yellow no matter how much water I drink. Also, last night, I noticed I had night sweats, and the room was set on the regular temp. I don't know I'm soo scared. I JUST KEEP THINKING OF WHY I'M HAVING SUCH SYMPTOMS

ALSO, I FRENCHED KISSED THIS GIRL LAST NIGHT (ANOTHER GIRL ONCE AGAIN), BUT NOTHING MORE. WE SLEPT MY BED FOR A WHILE, BUT I FELT UNCOMFORTABLE SO I CHANGED TO ANOTHER BED. LONG STORY, I WOKE UP THIS MORNING, AND SAW CUTS ON THE SIDE OF MT MOUTH. I'M TAKING LOADS OF VIT C. AND IT SEEMS TO BE HEALING A BIT.

BUT I'M WANDERING, CAN THIS BE YET ANOTHER SIGN OF HIV? OR FROM THE KISS?

I KEEP OBSESSING AND THIKING OF THE MISTAKES I'VE MADE AFTER MY MAJOR NOV INCIDENT.

HELP!

Hi davidblaine,
Aside from the HIV testing, were you tested for any other STD's? If not you may want to have this completed. If the results are negative including a repeat HIV test in the recommended timeframe then it is quite likely that your symptoms are just coincidental. Take care and be very careful in engaging in possible risky behavior......
Sincerely,
Theresa Jones, RN
