I am female, 24 years old and have a mysterious bump on my head on the right side. I haven't been hit on the head and it is very tender to touch. It's swollen but there are no marks or bruising. I do feel sick to my stomach when I touch it. I have not recently been sick. Please advise...

Hi Jacobsmom,
You may have an infected hair follicle or possibly an infected lymph node. I'd suggest you have this checked out since you are having a fair amount of pain with it. If it is infected you may need some antibiotics.
Best wishes.
