Hi, I recently learned that the man I've been having sex with is HIV positive. He claims that he had it when he was with his ex also, however she doesn't have the virus. Since being with him I had a Hepatitis B vaccination and Mantoux test done. The Mantoux test came out negative. Does this mean that I'm HIV negative also?
Thanks!

Hello, The Mantoux test is for tuberculosis, so no, it does not mean you are not infected. The hepatitis B vaccine is also not protection against HIV. You should talk to your health care provider and cease having sex with this person without at least using a latex condom.
Best wishes.
