Originally I thought i was like a bruise, because the color resembles one. I was hiking last night with a friend and we walked a good 5 miles. I have normal looking bruises from the night too, from falling a few times, and getting hit with branches.. but this one just showed up, I woke up with it, and really looks odd to me. Although its not raised, itchy, painful or anything. Its flat and under the skin.

Hello,This bizarre linear pigmentation reminds me of a phytophotodermatitis caused by contact with plants. These pigmented streaks on the exposed skin represents the contact with plant parts.Ofcourse other causes of bruising have to be ruled out if fresh lesions appear or if this does not fade.If you have bleeding tendency or you are on medication it is best to get a opinion.Ok?
