 mmmcookies - Tue Jun 29, 2010 4:53 pm

I read somewhere u can soak the yogurt in the tampon
and use it for a few hrs.

True Or No?

is it safe?

eating yogurt daily will help this bacterial vaginosis?

User avatar Hello,
We do not recommend using yogurt in any way other than eating it. Some yogurt containing active cultures (should be labeled as such) can be beneficial in restoring good bacteria in your body but it is not likely to cure a bacterial infection. When used along with an antibiotic it might be helpful but there is little scientific data to support it.

Best wishes.
