Question: Stage 2 Kidneys....Question

squab - Wed Jan 04, 2006 4:22 am

Hi,

I was told by my doctor that I was at stage 2 for my kidneys..
Can you please tell me more on stage 2 and what I need to do to keep my kidneys from going to other stages? I have high blood pressure and prediabetes... I am 42 years old... My doctor did say that she thought the reason I am at stage 2 is my blood pressure and sugar spiking up... I have my blood pressure under control most times... Please answer me so I can do what I have to do to help myself....

Thank you so much

I forgot to say that I use to take between 22 to 24 tablets of Ibuprofen aday for years for bad teeth... Could this have caused my kidneys to go to stage 2? My Creatinine serum is 0. 09, Glom Filt Rate, est is 63. 8L. They also found Traces of Wbc Esterase and Occult blood. Should I be concerned...

Thank you..
Belinda
