Acute autoimmune brachial plexopathy

Appears in young age and occurs mainly in males. Maybe preceded by chest infection or immunization.

Manifestations

Abrupt onset of pain and weakness and sensory loss in the regional supply of the axillary nerve and rarely the whole arm.

Total recovery occurs in months to 3yrs.
