I have been experiencing a sharp pain in the top left part of my brain/head. It comes and goes, but hits hard. Yesterday I also experienced a moving headache on the left-side of my head as well as the pain in the upper part of my head. The headache would be in the front of my head and then pound in my temples. I would then experience the pain in the back of my head. It was really odd and I don't know if I should get it checked out or not. I looked up a map of the brain on the internet and it seems like the achiness in my brain is in the the parietal lobe area. If anyone oculd please let me know what I should do or what it might be that would be terrific. Thank you.

I am 34 and have had similar pains for about two weeks. My hair folicles are sore, sharp pains on he top of my head and aching that moves. This happened to me about two years ago and I went to a neurologist. He did an exam and an MRI. I was told this is a type of tension headache that is caused by tight muscles in the neck and shoulders. You should always get checked by a doctor to rule out anything else but thta it what I was told. It usually feels better if I can lay down and relax for a few minutes.
Good Luck and feel better.
