I found a hard "patch" of tissue behind my nipple that feels like it's deep in my breast (not close to the top). I am kinda freaked out that it is cancer
It's not really a lump cause it's flat

Hi shortie_1318,
A large number of breast lumps etc. are benign. However, when an unusual area is noted upon self examination, a physician's evaluation is warranted to identify if it is benign breast changes or something of concern. Call your physician's office for an evaluation.
Sincerely,
Theresa Jones, RN
