Question: BREAST LUMP AND PAIN

I have a lump on the top part of my left breast, I am experiencing a burning sensation in that breast which goes under my arm and culminates in pain at the base of my neck. It is non-cyclical and has progressively got worse over the last six weeks. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to say I am an otherwise healthy 40 year old woman, I have had two children the youngest is six. My mother died last year $ months after being diagnosed with Colon cancer which had severly metatased. I had a fibroid removed from the same breast 10 years ago.
