I am a researcher for Beyond Productions (http://www.beyond.com.au), one of
Australia's largest television production companies.
We are creating a series of medical documentaries to be broadcast on the
Discovery Health Channel in the U.S.
The main series -- ‘Medical Marvels and Mysteries’ -- seeks to educate
and inform viewers about various rare medical conditions; the causes,
treatments and latest technological advances.
The series follows the stories of people who have rare and unique medical
conditions, and also highlights amazing medical survival stories and
I am looking for incredible survivors, who might be interested in
participating in the series, possibly with their doctors. We aim to speak
with individuals about their condition, it’s characteristics, difficulties
they have faced – both medically and socially, and any new technology or
medical advances that may be assisting them.
Similarly, we are working on a number of independent hours of programming
covering a wide range of medical topics from anesthesia to transgender

I'm a breast cancer survivor since 2001. I had bi-lateral breast cancer and a tumor in the spine. My mother is a breast cancer survivor for the second time. Her first over 22 years ago. My aunt and cousin are both breast cancer survivors as well.
I'm embarking on a new cancer fighting vaccine called, "dendritic". You should check out their site at http://www.issels.com I have my first appontment next week. They claim to have a high rate of non-occurance in their patients who have completed their comprehensive treatments.
In addition, I was born in San Jose, California - silicon valley of the USA. It was reported some years ago that San Jose has one of the highest cancer rates. This was reported in the San Francisco Chronicle. My sister and I know of at least a dozen young women/men that are battling cancer from our neighborhood. IBM is currently being sued for having cancer promoting chemicals at their tech fabs as well as Fairchild Electronics (currently out of business. They settled their case out of court.) I have tried to get more information from the State and other resources, but have hit road blocks. I feel that someone needs to investigate this further. The multi-trillion dollar computer tech business may be hiding the real reason San Jose residents are increasing in cancer cases.
