I am 64 yrs old F with family history of ovarian cancer which I'm told also means breast. My mammogram shows a 3-1/2" cyst. I am to go back for further testing. Should I be able to feel a cyst this large? Thanks.

Breast cysts are very common and may or may not be felt on palpation (touch). Some are only visible on mammogram, regardless of size. They are typically fluid-filled and most are benign. I am glad to hear you are having follow-up testing because all breast changes such as these should be evaluated. Good luck.
