Please help, I'm really confused and scared and worried about having Esopheagal Cancer, I started having an itching feeling in my throat about two weeks ago along with a full feeling in my chest. This started after I was vomiting for a period of 12 hours. I've been diagnosed with depression and I am cancerophobic so maybe I am worrying too soon. I also have increased belching, throat pain (only sometimes) and a fast heart beat.
I'm 24 years old, overweight, non-smoker, non-drinker... I'm really scared.
Thank you.

benjimest,
All the symptoms you have described with the exception of vomiting are nonspecific ones. Please refer to this page to learn more about esophageal cancer. You will notice that many of the risk factors do not match with your medical profile. If the vomiting continues then you should consult your doctor right away.
