Hello, I am worried that I might have melanoma on my inner thigh. I had this mark for a while, but I am not sure if it is staying the same size or possibly growing. I am 21 years old white male.

Thanks for any and all help.

Hello,Asymmetry,Borders irregular, uneven Color,Diameter over 6mm are the main features to look out for in suspicious moles.Color speading to the surrounding skin,Onset of itching,Bleeding, scaly appearence are the other features to be looked out for. Genetic predilection, sun exposure, presence of atypical nevi, fair skin with excess uv exposure, too many melanocytic nevi are all risk factors. Though I could not see the photo, sice it did not down load I would advise you to consult a physician if abnormal features above are present, for a screening. Dermascopy is a simple non invasive test for suspicious moles. Best wishes.
