  fluorouracil.... 300 mg/sqm/day IV from day 1 to day 5.

                   [500 mg/sqm/day IV from day 1 to day 3 during 
                   each course of radiation therapy].
  adriamycin...... 50 mg/sqm IV day 1.
  cisplatin....... 20 mg/sqm/day IV from day 1 to day 5.
  radiation....... After 6 cycles of chemotherapy, irradiate at 
                   200 rad/day; 5 days/week for 2 weeks, rest for 
                   2 weeks, then repeat radiation as described.
  FREQUENCY....... Repeat chemotherapy every 21 days for 6 cycles, 
                   then administer combined fluorouracil 
                   chemotherapy and irradiation.
