Question: Rigid muscle problem

Lucifer1083 - Tue Dec 19, 2006 6:03 am

Dear Doctor,

Am a guy and this is my first mail to you, I hope u will help me. Well I undergone a liposuction in my buttocks because it had excess fats ect, it was really embarrassing for a guy. The doctor told me to perform some exercises to help tighten the muscles, but theres one major problem, the right part of my buttock muscle has become more rigid and its not level with the other.

I just wanted to know if there is some kinda solutions to slacken it a bit so that it becomes level with the other one!!

I hope I'll get a positive answer from your part.

Thanx a lot

Regards

Hello,

I think the problem is not due to abnormal muscle built by the exercises you are doing. I guess this is a complication of the liposuction.

Abnormal body contour, superficial irregularities of the skin, seromas etc, are known complications to liposuction.

I would advise you to follow up with the plastic surgeon who did the operation for you.

Direct clinical examination is essential.
Keep us updated.
Best regards.
