i broke my coccyx 3 days ago and i notice that sometimes i barely have any pain and sometimes it;s unbearable is this normal or could the doctor have made a mistake?? after he told me it's broken he said that he wasn't a radiologist and it's possible that he could have made a mistake. also how long does it usually stay broken and painful for??

 Hi pokey,
Regardless of whether it's bruised or broken, it may stay tender for approx 3-4 wks. Be careful! Hope this helps :)
