Broke the fibula low near the ankle about 2 mo ago, sometimes when I walk, have little pain, but other times I limp horribly. Why the difference and what's going on?

 Hello,
I would need more information to give a good opinion.
Was the ankle/ leg casted? For how long?
Did you wear a boot?
Were you on crutches ...partial weight bearing?
Was this a severe or minor fracture?
How did it occur?
Have you had xrays to confirm healing?
