My 3 yr old daughter has had her diagnoses change 3 times since she was two. At first we were told she was Immunoglobin A deficient becuase she was making <3 IGA's. Then that level went normal and we were told she had hereditary angioedema due to C1 and C4. Now her doc calls and says she thinks its lupus? She lacks all the skin and joint things that point to lupus.
Her symptoms are severe asthma, allergies, weezing, recurrent pneumonia. She has been in the hospital 6 times for pneumonia. Her C4 keeps coming up abnormal. She has been tested for cystic fibrosis. She is on Flovent, albuterol, singulair, flonase,zyrtec-every day. Prelone, and carries an epipen jr for emergencies.
Any fresh perspective on this? Your help is greatly appreciated!
