when i boil water to make my 2 month old's formula i notice some hard water deposits floating on top can it hurt her??

It would be impossible online to analyze your particular water as each location has a different mixture of minerals and bacteria in its water. Since you live in Ottawa I have a resource you can contact to learn about the water in your area. Here it is:
