My 11month old has sores on her but and hips that look like ringworm; there are 3 one round and two oval shaped sores. They are a red ring and look bumping but they aren't; the inside of the rings look like normal but a little yellowish. What could this be. She is teething could it be from that? I know it isn't diaper rash she has hd that before a couple of times. Please help.... Thanks BB

Hi BB,
Your description actually does sound a lot like ringworm, which is not actually a worm infection but rather a fungal skin infection. It is quite common. There are various medications to treat it and treatment can take several weeks. However, before starting a treatment I would recommend you have this evaluated by her doctor to be sure that is what is going on.
Best wishes.
