we just noticed my niece has a 2nd butthole towards the top of her crack where poop is coming out of too... what is this and what can be done

Hello Hottie_69960,
There are a few possibilities regarding this. It is rare, but possible for there to be an entirely duplicated rectum and anus. It is also possible that there can be a small connecting tube from the intestines to the skin called an enterocutaneous fistula.
This needs to be further evaluated. Your niece should probably start by seeing her pediatrician about it. She will subsequently likely need to see either a Pediatric Surgeon or a GI specialist (probably both) to help determine exactly what this is and how to correct it.
