my daughter has been complaining of sore legs over the last month. She gets very irrational and upset with everyday occurrences on some days and these usually coincide with pain in her legs and raised leucocytes in her urine. She's been checked for urinary tract infection and was OK. We've also noted that ants seem to be attracted to her urine (or to the toilet) when she's having one of her "loopy" days. There is no glucose in her urine.

Dear Roz_Gary,
Have you had her blood glucose checked also? If not, please do, and tell us the results.
