My daughter is almost 3 and she bruises very easily. Some of the bruises on her legs (which seem to just appear) have been there for several months. Is this common in children? She had a Congenital Heart Disease when she was an infant, so I am over cautious now. Thanks for any replies.

Hi Nikky,
Easy bruising is very common, not just in children, but many adults would report a bruise witkout recall of trauma.
It results from fragile blood vessels, and in case your child is lean, lack of subcutaneous fat makes its occurence more common, as well as more evident.
Just make sure she takes an adequate amount of vitamin C daily.
Keep up the good work! :)
