Hello, I have a co-worker who has a 1 yr old daughter. She apparantly quit growing at 7 mo. She is developing in all other areas just fine but she just stopped growing. What could possibly cause this kind of phenomenon?

Hello,
A number of things could cause this. Could be hormonal, genetic, nutritional, or associated with other chronic disorders, which may have not yet been diagnosed in this child.
Kindly advise this person to take his/her child to a doctor for proper evaluation and investigation.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. She has been seen by a local physician and they are running tests, however, nothing has been found yet.
Appreciatively,
Nora
